Hi, I have a 2000 S55 AMG with Keyless Go. The doors work great when I have the key card in my pocket, but the start button have no response what so ever, I have to start the engine with the key. The gearbox start button itself feels ok physically when pressing it. Any ideas?

Usually a broken wire in the shifter. if you press the button with the car off does anything happen? Message on the dash saying key not detected or whatever?

 

Nothing in dash or anything not when car on nor off. Completely "dead".

 

Ran a Star diagnose, came out with "V" on Keyless Go system. No errors. Strange.
