Pulsation damper or abc pump

Recently had an abc hose burst and I then drove about a mile. Installed new hose. Now I hear a whine from engine area. It gets louder as the engine is revved highest but will go away if I hit a speed bump.
I've ordered both parts but wondering if someone knows which before I do.

WHY would a 'speed bump' change a noise from the pump?? The 'pulsation damper hose' vibrating against something WOULD change sound. Try either isolating the hose from touching the body/engine or tightly fasten it to stop the vibration against the frame/engine.

Yes. That is what it was. The bracket holding the hose was lose.
