Does anyone has this on their car? picture? too bad it's only available on 2003 model and older...

Someone should maintain a list of the possible upgrades for the S class... otherwise I'm just going to come up with questions... newbie owner here.

I'm sure some of the other persons will speak up, but I'm pretty sure you can hook your car up w/ the MB grill. Check out Erick Tu's ride on page 1 of the below thread. I think he has an '01 (?).

My bad! I think I saw 2001 Lorinser somewhere. Well I had indicated I wasn't sure. But I pointed dude to your car as an All-Star e.g. Again, my bad.

I just installed the grille on my '00 S500 last week. It is different from any other grille I have seen on the forums. It is not like the Lorinser grille that ericktu has. If you look at the car from the side, the Lorinser grille follows the natural lines of the car. This grille however, sticks out a bit and is more pronounced. Installation was easy and only took a few minutes. The hood emblem is a must!!

It's the same grille mentioned in the original post by khuongoikhuong except it is for 2000-2002 Model W220. I purchased from the same seller on Ebay. Just be sure to ask for the one that fits 2000 model year.

Thanks for the great pics. What do you think of the quality? Is OE or aftermarket? Did he charge you $48.00 for shipping?

I purchased one of the exact same aftermarket grill from Ebay, but promptly switched it back.

Pros:
Inexpensive
Easy as hell to install - 20 minutes first time, 12 minutes to change back after I knew what I was doing

Cons:
The fit is somewhat avergage, and it sticks out as mentioned.
My biggest issue is with the chrome strips, they arent smooth, and had some flaws in it, which in fact when you look at it close from about 5 feet, makes the grill look cheap.
