What a bloody waste of time this place is,.
I can see why there are so many W220's in the boneyards here and so many for sale,.
Bloody complicated waste of money time and effort lumps.

Too many become new members and are just looking for an instant answer.
When we advise "read" and "search", they get impatient.
Most new queries have been dealt with on these forums ages ago, and the answers are usually well documented.
Sign of the times.

HHMMMNNN: I really think you don't get it, but calling me a "smug ***" doesn't help.
We do have over the years helped each other a lot on these forums.
I don't think you are going to get any with that attitude.

I use to think my W124 4Matic was complicated. Then I got the service manual and it was much easier to understand. But still complicated.
When I bought a W220, I was warned that it was complicated and told to get SDS. Then I got SDS and it is complicated and not easy to understand, but it makes understanding the W220 much easier.
i still prefer service manuals over Wis, but I’m learning.
Here is some reading about Airmatic and acceleration sensors.

I think an outdated unreliable W220 is not the car for me.
Thankyou wally P for your previous help.
