Ongoing windshield washer leakage issue 👎 .. and siren alarm replaced 👍
I also had him install a new washer fluid tank but as soon as I pulled back into my garage (20 minutes later) the washer fluid was literally pouring out and the tank was bone dry. So now I guess I’m going to do what I should’ve done first and check out the parts from Auto Zone or O’Reilly’s and simple fixes as discussed here.
As of the tank replacement today, I now get 2 start up messages, check washer fluid level which I previously had but also check coolant level which I Did not have before. I noticed the check coolant level before leaving the Indy so he checked it and said it was fine. I made the trip home and the temp stayed within where it typically runs in the summer, 80- high 90s depending on if I’m running down the highway at 70 or sitting stopped in road construction. Had both on the wash one today.
I’ve read that low washer fluid can trigger check coolant message on some “older” vehicles. Would that be true for an 03 W220?
Is there anything I should especially be looking for or thinking about?
thanks in advance. 😄
