Transmission Replacement S350 w220

Guys i want to swap my transmission it has issues inside of clutch.
I bought the car it was Shifting jerky so hooked a scanner came to know tcu won't connect with car or obd2 scanner, the tcu was from a pre facelift model with W/S and has abs light and esp light, my car had C/S new computer doesn't gives abs or esp lights
I replaced the tcu with original part number now transmission stays in 3rd gear or 3 and 4 and scanner says the Gear is implausible or transmission is slipping gives codes p2502
Mechanic says it might be a transmission Conductor plate or the clutch has an issue
here in my place the cost of replacing the plate is more than replacing the whole transmission so can anyone pls guide can i use a transmission from any w220 or any v6 Mercedes or do i need specific s350 transmission
Note* Oil level is Good, Gear Filter is new genuine, if i reset codes car stays same and codes come back

you need to check the speed sensors in the contact plate with SDS.
Contact plate is not that expensive.

that’s because a s350 uses the 722.9 transmission , a 7 speed computer controlled transmission.

and you can’t just change the conductor plate without coding it to the car using Mercedes computer . that’s why you have the problem now .

and you can’t just swap a whole 722.9 transmission without using the Mercedes computer to program it to the car too

and no you can’t put in the pre facelift 5 speed 722.6 transmission. It’s totally different

Only MB can program the 722.9 transmission (for other garages the programming tooling is too expensive, and they still have to purchase the contact plate from MB
