Rear doors won't unlock with central locking

Hi all,
the rear doors on my 2000 S500 won't unlock with the key fob or the credit card keyless go card. Everything worked perfectly until I had to get a new key and a new battery installed. (Dealer installed)
Both front doors and the boot lock and unlock with the key fob,
I have checked all the fuses, even had the central locking pump apart and tested and that seems to be working ok.
The keyless go card lights up when the doors are open but won't open back doors.
can anyone please point me in the right direction for what could be wrong because my local MB dealer just rubs his hands together and looks at new car brochures when I go in. I swear even his wife looks at mink coats and diamonds if I even just drive past the place.

Many thanks for any help.

PS. Sorry this was previously posted in W223 section by mistake.

First thing to try (quick, easy, and free) is to go to the right rear seat area and locate the floor lamp located behind the passengers heels. pull the lamp from the carpeted wall - don't unplug, just let it dangle. Locate the yellow 20-Amp fuse near the inboard end of the fuse row. Pull it out, wait a few seconds, and plug it back in. Reinstall the lamp.

Try the rear doors. Let us know what happens.

Hi Wally,
Thanks for the reply.
I pulled the fuse as suggested and it looked good but I changed it over for a new one just in case. When I put the new fuse in, you could hear some whirring and clicking noises and whatever those noises were, it seems to have worked as all doors are working with the credit card key again.
Many thanks for the very helpful advice, you saved me heaps of dollars from the "Stealership"
As a side note, can anyone tell me what all the other fuses in this bank are for as my car came without the fuse charts.
Stay safe and be kind to everyone.
Rollerman.

Pulling the fuse resets the PSE (Pneumatic Service Equipment) control module. The PSE air pump (both pressure and vacuum) lives in the forward left corner of the trunk, behind the lining.

Perhaps this will help:

Recognize that the fuse installations vary both by year and by the options installed.
