Hello, everyone

I need your help. I own a S600 L W220 2003 facelift. Since the soft-close function no longer worked for me after a certain time, I followed the instructions from here:
https://w220.wiki/Pneumatic_System_E...t-off_pressure
I got the exactly same problem as described, my pump ran too long after the soft-close locking.

So I removed the PSE pump and when removing the lower vacuum line (with the MKL> Lumbar Support, Massage etc) there was still pressure on it and there was a "Pshhhhh", at that moment the pressure was completely released. After disassembling the PSE pump, I adjusted the shut-off pressure screw as shown in the instructions above.

The pump has been properly reassembled and all functions have been tested. Adjusting the screw did not help, because my pump is still running approx. 15 seconds after locking from soft-close.

Now we come to my huge problem:

Since I removed the pump, my seat functions are not working in all seats> Lumbar Support, Massage Pulse, front back, nothing works. When pressing PULSE button, it stays red for 5 seconds and after that the light goes off

All other functions work, such as lowering the headrests, soft-close front rear, door locking, trunk lock.

How can that be? Do you have an idea? Do I need a new pump, that would be a huge coincidence, wouldn't it? Because as I said, all other functions work.
Before removing my PSE pump, all the seats worked perfectly.
In addition, I set the shut-off pressure screw back to its original position, without success. I also have disconnected the fuse and battery, without success

I am very grateful to you for your help.Thank You.

Hello , Thanks for your replies.

I replaced my PSE Pump, with a brand new one. The good thing, Soft Close is working as it should, it releases pressure after 3-4 seconds. Great.

But the lumbar / pulse function isnt still working. But I assume this is because of the programming. The PSE maybe doesnt know that my car has Interactive Seats. So i will get it to MB to program it and hopefully it will work.

What do you think?

Did you reprogram yourself, or did you have to take to a dealer? I have the SDS system, but mine wont seem to complete the programming...it hangs there forever and wont finish..i have waited over 15 mins and it never returns from the "Coding in process...Please wait" message
None of my PSE functions working with replaced unit so far.
Thanks in advance
Mike
