Hello all. New form member here with a question about my S class that I was gifted.(saved from going to junk yard).
It had a dead battery. I was able to successfully jump the car and get the motor to run rather smoothly. I did however notice that I do not have throttle input of any kind. When depressing the pedal it does little to nothing. I also do not have a A/C blower fan working and a radiator fan which is not spinning. All of this is happening in conjunction with a sporadic idle that hovers around 1100 RPM until you out it into gear which allows the car to roll without throttle input to roughly 25 mph. I believe it may be in limp mode of some sort but am unsure what a viable reasoning would be in this situation.
Does anyone have any advise that may get this pedal responding and subsequently allow myself to drive the car? This is the car within question and before anyone is concerned I do in fact have working air ride which aired up.
