S500 Leans right
Ive read threw soo many threads and still can't to figure out whats going on with my car. Ive noticed that the car leans to the right and without rise mode the rear passenger side would rub. I have 19s on the car and the driver side doesn't rub. I've replaced the valve block which didn't really do anything. Ive checked all ride hight sensors and they seem fine. What else should I be looking for?
So when I bought the car that car leaned right and the suspension would drop to the ground when turned off. So I started researching over the forums and people said there is a leak. So I changed the valve body on the pump (did nothing). Then I saw a s500 in the salvage yard and decided to pull parts from it: I got the 20V fuse for Airmatic and relay- you can find details on the fuses online. (Usually the fuse and relay is 200$ but I got them for 20$ from the salvage yard). Then after putting it on my car, the suspension never dropped. This was a relief since I didn't had to spend 5000$ on a new Airmatic System. Next the car still leaned right and since I had 20s on it- the car would rub every since bump. It was annoying but after @Fried Chicken suggestion to get a Mercedes ride height calibration and alignment from the dealership which I did. They use SDS or some newer system. It was 400$ out the door including an alignment. Now the car doesn't lean and its right height on all four wheels. I hope this also helps other users which are having the same issue as me.
