04 S430 issues
2004 S430
Couple issues with this thing that Im trying to get fixed so the car will be reliable.
1) Shifter not recongnizing its in park. Insert key and dash tells me to put lever in park. Removed shifter assembly and looks as if its not pushing the park pin far enough forward. Not sure if the aluminum arm repair (for stuck in park issue repair) will resolve this as well. Anyone else experienced this?
2) The battery drains. Sometimes overnight and sometimes takes a couple days. Im thinking this is linked to the park issue. Had to replace a cable on my sons accord due to the batter draining due to the car not shutting off completely, electrically and draining the battery.
Any help is appreciated and I hope this is in the correct forum as well.
