Disable automatic lowering on freeway?

Guys,

I dumped my car really low and I love it, but... most of the time I want to drive in the raised setting. The low setting is only for those go out nights... anyways.. so

I drive around town with the setting on RAISED, when I hit the freeway for a while it cancel my RAISED setting.. how do I disable that?

Thanks!

Don't think it's possible. I recall having a problem with my rear suspension where the turn angle sensor was broken. My *** was dropped really low and although it looked cool it wasn't practical for driving. Anyway, If I drove it at normal height, I'd hear it rubbing in the back so I'd always put it on the raised setting. When I took it to Mercedes to have fixed the service rep told me it's not recommended to be driving the car always with it raised. I'd say talk to someone from Mercedes but if I were you I'd probly raise the permanent height.

Lower you car using an electronic lowering module (Brabus, Kleemann, Carlsson) if you want to overcome that problem.

found an interesting screen shot of a Window type Star diagnostic.

I have doubt that you can actually adjust suspension to +/- 127mm That's 5 inch.. I'm sure there is a hardware limit well before a 5 inch travel up and down from static height.

2" would be nice.

you sure can...

you can definitely travel the 5 inches...

when i first lowered my 2000 S, i adjusted the back the wrong direction by accident and it raised the rear of the car about that much from the stock height. it looked like i was driving a hot rod!

too many to list
driving around town on the raised setting is totally doable but not practical, even mercedes benz does not recommed it and specially not on the highway because the car drops certain mm at certain speeds so there is no way you can keep it at raised through out your whole trip on the freeway as its just not possible.
