Average Age of S class Drivers
I personally own a C320. Started a poll on this and it's interesting to see the results of owners. I'm going to do the same for each class and see exactly the demographics. Should be interesting.

That's obsurd! I'd never have guessed that the age group 16-23 would have more S classes than other aged people...although it can't be considered true since you're more likely to see people in that age group going to sites like this and voting as opposed to someone else who's actually older. Me, I'm 22 years of age and own a 2000 S500. The only difference is that I bought it myself last year with my own money as opposed to others who are fortunate enough to just receive it as a gift to celebrate the day they did nothing but become born. Whoopty doo, you came out crying like a b*tch and, went through life eating and ****ting yourself until you reached the day of birth. Such an accomplishment is surely in need of a reward such as a new body S class. Hehe........i'm drunk.

WTF is a 20 year old doing with an S class which, by anyones standards is an old mans car? (I should know). When I bought mine a collegue (35) commented that it is the kind of car one drives to a funeral.
Certainly not the kind that would be attractive to a teenager or a young entrepreneur. For most of you I would recommend sticking to a souped up Honda Civic.

Conversely if you need a fancy car to pick up girls you would, otherwise, be unable to date then you're beyond help. They aren't impressed by you in matters that are lasting or important.

MBWorld Fanatic!
Younger people prefer bigger, safer cars, because do not have much driving experience, When they become older and more experienced, preferences will be changed to drive something like SLK55.

Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland
that is somewhat true! i prefer to drive bigger cars due to the fact that hopefully i will be a little safer than the person who hits me/i may hit. idk if i will ever want a smaller car though.

I'm 30 and just bought my S430 in March....primarily because my previous vehicle, a 2000 BMW 530 was totalled in a car crash and I HATED the new styling of the '04 5 series.....

BTW, if your collegue consider S-Class old mans car... Well, in general american taste is way below european.. but that's not the case with the folks on this forum

I think sgb33f hit the nail on the head. It's because the younger crowd is more computer savvy that your statistics are like this. It would be much different if you asked a random sample.
