How?

How can you open the truck to get to (everything) PSE PUMP, battery if the trunk won’t open, even after it has been jumped off? Nothing works to open trunk.

Are you certain that you know how to open the trunk using the metal key? What do you do? What happens?

The key will not go all the way in the key hole.

If you have any spray lubricant that has the tiny thin straw spray nozzle, hold the keyhole cover open and spray up into the lock liberally. Try to insert the key repeatedly. Repeat over a few days.

There are two different functions for the key.
- Insert the key, turn it and push up on the key to open the trunk lid.
- Insert the key, turn it the other way and remove the key. This turns off the electro-pneumatic opening function, so the valet can't get into the trunk.

itll open dont bother ruining license plate trim just to get it

you have to turn the key a special way to open it. i thought my trunk was broken but i was turning key wrong way

also, there is a fuse under rear passenger seat that controlls the trunk. replace that and it should pop once atleast

Install a remote battery cutoff switch. My s600 kills the battery every 3-4 days. After installing a remote cutoff i haven't had a problem with the battery since. Your alarm wont work because you cutoff the battery but no ones going to steal a car that they think needs a battery. I forget if I got the 320amp or 500amp. One costs $60 and the other is $90. They have cheaper ones but idk if they'll fit. I think only the ones with the flexible lines for the terminals will fit with the battery cover on. If you buy one with an external antenna, I would crazy glue the plastic over the antenna so it doesn't fall off. Mine fell off and reception was terrible. I had to put shrink tubing over the antenna to fix the problem. Easily the best thing I've bought for my car.

Change the barreries inside the remote. I just remembered I had the same problem at first and it turns out the batteries in the remotes were no good.
