Perplexing Key Fob /PSE question ! 05 S430 4Matic
Repaired the dreaded rear SAM and have been working on the lock system and PSE pump . The pump would come on prior to the rear SAM replacement but only work the head rests and rear screen from the dash buttons. After replacing the SAM the key fob now lights the blinkers etc showing locking and unlocking as it should but no action on the door locks . The dash lock/unlock buttons now open and lock the front . So today I pulled the rear passenger door to investigate the actuator which I found hissing away when the dash or key dob buttons are pushed . So obviously that’s leaking somewhere. I thought to plug the tube from the PSE that connects to the first connection in the door . )Had plenty of positive and negative pressure so I know there is no leak from the line ). So now I have lock and unlock from the dash buttons on the other three doors .
So here is the mystery I need help with . The key fob and the dash buttons activate the same lines coming out of the PSE ! I’ve tested them all several times . And yes I’ve pulled the damn fuse out about 20 times to reset along with the main battery .
So WTH????? How is it possible the pump comes on ,blows the same air through the system to the same same Functions but the locks don’t unlock or lock with the key fob and only the dash buttons ? Read every damn post I can find and can’t find a related issue !
Anyone have an idea on this mystery ????
What am I missing ? Btw I should mention the key fob unlocks the trunk as well as the drivers door switch !

Not sure if you read the post ?
Fob batteries ?
None of what I wrote would be possible if the key fob was dead .
The locks are Pneumatic.
Also there is only one fob and valet key .
Bought it this way . Is in amazing shape and low miles .
