Having problems with my AC new to MB
The best Diagram I could come up with. Hopefully this gives a better understanding.
I'm tossed up between
A/C Heater Flap Blend Door Actuator. The control module or the dual heater valve? I get no trouble codes when I go into the AC menu using the rest and filter button. I'm gonna have to spend the money either way I understand that but I'm just looking for a way to diagnose the issue without spending $275 for someone to look at it if anybody has any advice or any further information I could use that would be appreciated, because so far by looking through the form I've seen a lot of different issues that can cause a similar problem

The HVAC ia a complicated computer-controlled system. Starting here https://w220.wiki/#WIS_83_Climate_Control and doing a lot of reading will help a great deal.
My first guess is the duovalve. It is well within reasonable DIY to access, disassemble, clean and reinstall. There are pretty detailed how-to info posts and videos - search for w220 duovalve and w220 duo valve.

If you push the left round button, you can manually control where the air comes out, and each vent has a manual flow control (the wheel). There are several unexpected control and options - the Owners Manual covers them pretty well. If you don't have the Owners Manual, they are available on-line.

SL 600
I have an 1997 SL600 (R129) V12 air comes from side vents and defrost only and yes the knob are rotated to let. Have had into MB 6 times with no luck? Any ideas? Looking at vac hoses know because of someone’s post. I have a MB service CD that came with my car it is some what confusing, my next move if can’t figure it out is to drive 300 miles to the next closest MB dealership.
