the 00 model had it. i dont think there is a button I think you put the wiper selector on a certain spot or something. i think the rain sensor is stupid though, it speeds them up when not needed and slows them down when they are needed.

danny u have to move the switch one nudge upwards to turn the rain sensors on..this is the same switch you control your wipers with just move it to once and your sensors are active there is not button for it..

While the rain sensors are not perfect, I like them - but in my experience, two factors seem to affect them.

One is the amount of water on the windshield when wipers are first activated; the more water initially, the more the sensors seem to tolerate before they activate the wipers, and the interval will be too long. To re-set this, I activate manually for one or two sweeps, then go back to automatic.

The other occurred when I re-set the blades so that they were stored a bit lower on the heated area of the windshield, a bit more out of sight. The wipers then left a bit more of the left side of the windshield unswept, and the rain sensors activated the blades too frequently.

Manually, by removing the nut from the bottom of the wiper arm and repositoning the blade.
