immobilizer problem!!!!!!!

hello, after having a problem with the shifter throwing a code, I put a used one without doing the proper research, and now the vehicle activated the immobilizer. so I put the original shifther back, and the immobilizer is still activated and i don't have a way to clear it, as a consequence, ignition key turns but no crank. any ideas as how to proceed?

What code?

It could be the capacitors in your shift module have gone bad.

you need some sort of scanner to access and reset the shifter module

something mercedes specific for like 100-200 bucks right?

shifter faults come up on my scanner, it does an in depth test of everything in the car even the heater wiper fluid nozzles
