Rear height sensor
Back of car won’t raise up. Looks like the little arm of the rear sensor broke. Just bought a new one with the extender too.
How do I know at what position to place the arm of the sensor?
any pic showing exactly the position it should be in?
also - does it need to a scanner or is it a plug and. Play?

Yes and no.
You can install it and raise and lower the car a few times using the button and itll recalibrate. Usually through a scanner there is a function which does this for us but I've gotten by just doing that. You can also just do a battery pull to reset the entire system.

anyone have a picture that shows which way the arm should be pointing?
also - the rear height position setting should be what? measuring from the bottom to start of fender? should be how many inches in rear? fronts?

Point the arm up, both the sensor and the arm. Then attach them together, they should both point upwards at an angle.
You will need a 10mm socket or wrench, and a small 8mm wrench to keep the arm connection part from spinning.
