Stock Brake Discs on 2003 S600

I am looking for information about the brake discs on the S600. My Dad owns one and I noticed that the discs on the passenger side are directional for the driver side. The discs on the driver side are correct.

Did Mercedes spec left brake discs to mounted all around? If that is the case, the discs mounted on the right side of the car will not cool properly because are they designed for the left side of the car.

Yup... All the big brakes on the AMG's are the same way. MB speced ONE rotor only.

In all honesty, you will probably not notice a problem unless you track the car or use your brakes very hard for extended periods.

I believe so.

When it comes time to replace my disc's, I will look at Non OEM entities such as Brembo, Stop Tech, etc. with aluminum hats.
