Next gen S class Innovations?
What kinda Innovations do you think the next generation S class will have? I mean real Innovations? Something to make it stand out from existing cars?

In my opinion, since they plan to keep many of the existing S class features i.e. the same size, etc. we will probably see a car that looks slightly sleeker, with a slightly better ride, and on the electronics side, a 42 volt system, better A/C, Heating, and of course better Nav & Phone Systems.
I would stay away from the 2005 S Class until late 2006...give them a year to work out all the kinks. As loyal MB owners, being frustrated is frustrating!!

Well, I stayed away from the CL600 until this year but I must say that the ABC is not as refined as I would have thought. There is an intermittent buzz through the brake pedal as the ABC discharges high pressure and after it does this there is a loud chirp from the rear of the car when you release the brakes. This only happens while stopped. I took the car to the dealer and we went out in three other CL600's - they all did the same thing. Contacted the factory assistance hot line and they told the dealer "oh, we didn't think anyone would notice that....."
Not so great for 140K.
