inputs pls. 01 s500, only 1 horn working... the same one the dealer fixed/replaced under warranty a year ago... i'm too busy to goto the dealer....
1. is there separate fuse for each horn?
2. where are the horns? can i check for physical wiring issue?
3. the high tone is out....where's this horn? i'm hoping it's just a wire pullled out... if it's bad again, out of warranty, so i may need to reinstall/fix it....
any inputs would be appreciated...

o/w, the cars doing well...60K miles....solid car...

Did you ever receive a response to this? I have a 2001 S500 with one horn not working (high tone 500Hz on left front). Are there separate fuses or just one? Thanks for a response.

 

The post was 17 years ago, and he hasn't been seen in 14 years...

One fuse, and the horns are known to fail. Harbor Freight sells a pair of horns that work very well in the W220, and they are pretty cheap.
