Where will be the V12 logo?
No space to put the V12 logos on the new W221. Car has no mouldings (as on W220) neither has space on the back sides (as on W140). Any pics of W221 S600?

Not just to 'see it' or to 'show it off', but...
The new W221 looks a lot 'off-s-class-traditions' to me, and this subject is one of them.
But still the worst thing i think is the bm-style center console with the ford-style shift knob.

Mercedes all the way!
well, i'd argue that the previous W220 was the one really off the S-class traditions. where did the sweeping wood trim come from? what about the "soft shape" headlights? half-moon optitron instrumentation? and most importantly where did the hewn-from-solid construction go?
to me this W221 is the real deal - as good as the W220 is, this is the one more fitting to carry on from the mighty W140.
as for the interior, well, it's been debated many times and i don't think i can add anything to what's been said. suffice to say the centre console, when seen in person, does not look like the 7 except for the placement of the screen (and that's because of legislation); and the shifting knob is entirely different from ford since it is completely electronic, and operates more like a turn stalk - oh, and it's much smarter and smaller =)
