This might cause few people to get upset and cancel their order, but at least we know there is some real demand for this car. Mercedes I'm sure will do everything possible to fill the orders in a timely way.

Thanks for posting the pictures, you bA$tard.
Now I've got coffee that spurted out of my nose all over my screen, my "lower unit" lifted up the entire desk, causing papers to go flying, and I've got the shakes.
That is one sweeeeeeet whip!

question: is the AMG only available as a 12 cylinder ubercar, or will it be like the current/just-EOL'd S55/S65 variety to choose from?
the more i see, the more i like the AMG trip on the new S class. the stock models don't really get me all that excited, though.
and by the way, this thing's fargin' HUGE!!!
Hey Nevada Jack, weren't you just saying a few months ago that you had found the ride of your dreams that you could stick with for awhile in that white S430 you just bought? reading your posts on this thread is making me think, "damn, he sounds a lot like i do oftentimes!"
the minute i think i've found the perfect combination, someone comes along with a newer model and it all begins again...

Love every minute of it and the nice thing is with the delay of options I can hype myself all summer until they start delivering these things the way you want them....

We'll all get ours, guys -- we're just going to have to wait a little bit. Shouldn't be that long. Do we have a US-delivery timeframe guesstimate update yet? Summer? Fall?
And oh yeah, my USA GM got on the phone or on email or whatever last night, and now I've got to provide three GM's, already, with a new one when they come out!
(still less expensive than a 575M Superamerica or Koenigsegg CCR, though..!

I don't mention specific locations of my residences or of my businesses on the internet.... 
I am planning on one in the USA and one in Europe at this point. I may add more if I really like 'em -- but I do have other fantastic sedans and mulit-passenger vehicles which I don't want to lose due to replacement of them by another S65.... I do like the variety; and there are so many great cars out there, and only so much garage space and time to drive them.....
