just got our S550 Sport!!!
Wow, I love the car. It is one of the first Sports in the US, and one of the few right now. I can say that I am not deeply in love with the sports package body, as it is not a major upgrade from a non sports car, but it is decent. It reminds me of the difference between a AMG Packaged R class versus a regular. Anyways, the car is black on black, and has the 19" AMG wheels. I will post pics soon!

DEFINITELY NEED PICS!!! One of my friends works for MB in their Headquarters in Montvale, NJ. He gets to drive one of those for a few since he's part of the SOS crew.
He's bringing it over my house veyr soon. Will take a ****load of pics...for sure..

BTW...just copied a image from the MBUSA site of the S550 in Andorite Gray with the optional Chrome 18" wheels...looks fantastic. I really have the bug for this car now...don't know if I can wait for the S450...

Btw anyone drove the new S class with ABC? I'm gonna test drive one soon, but still wanna hear what other think about. In Canada its 4500 option i wonder is it worth it?

Congratulations on the new car. I hope you enjoy it very much. I also wish that you have no problems with the car. I also see that you have impeccable taste in that you have a Carrera GT aswell.

I was wondering if your S550 Sport came with Blue Glass like the other Sport and AMG cars. Also is there Birds Eye Maple wood trim or black dash clock?

One question, how is the acceleration of the S550? I know that my S500 has a little punch, but I am thinking that the new S550 has much more with the increased HP.

I drove my uncle's 04 S500 right after I test drove the S500 and it was a huge difference in performance, as well as many other aspects, being its a different design and compilation of features...
The S550 incredibly picked up so fast without snappin your neck..too smooth, too graceful!...

Got to wonder how things get so out of control they cannot fill orders for a new vehicle already on the market in Europe for several months....?????
