Car and Drives rave reviews for W221
C & D makes the w221 sound ten times better than the w220. Just look at these quotes:

btw, my local dealer has a good discount on S350 with I believe Sport Package for about 55K . Good Service too, I bought a ML500 from him, no problems from him whatsoever.

JUST WHEN I thought that MB couldn't out do the W220 , THEy Just it . Hehe. . .. Going to have to put a hold on my w220 purchase to see how reliable this car is ...

Everyone who has driven this car and then written about it can't stop raving about what a fantastic car it is. "Perfect", "best car in the world"", best Mercedes ever", "have raised the benchmark above anything that has ever existed before" -- these are the kinds of statements automotive journalists and reviewers make after driving the new S-Class....

It rides and handles very well for a large car. The RX-8 wheel bulges don't work for me, though. I've always thought the W220 a beautiful car, and also much more timeless. Purely subjective, of course.
