I have a Canon 20D SLR with a variety of lenses. These were taken with the EF 100-300mm telephoto zoom at about 180mm range and cropped.

Nevada i saw the pic in ur sig was kind of low quality.. i dont know if u wanted it that way but w.e.. i took ur big pic and cropped it and this is a better qualityy.

I purposely make the signature image a small file so it will load quickly. If anyone needs better quality they can check my posts or anyone of my websites listed in my signature.

Actually the post above of the two shots are two different images from a similar position but one is more "zoomed" than the other.

Fantastic as always Jack. The 20D is a splendid body. I plan to purchase a 30D next after my Rebel XT. For now, I have to save up and work on my lenses.

Thanks. Hold off on the 30D Newt...they should be replacing that maybe by fall or next spring at the absolute latest.

I`m wondering this too, because I intended to go for AMG pkg on my S320cdi but canceled when they told me that there are no oval pipes in the rear bumper like the S550 with AMG pkg.

I think that pic is still mystery. hehe, I ask my MB dealer about it. They said only 63 AMG kit can fit 4 pipe.

Mayb TOMEK is lucky or he do some mods on the rear.

Your latest shots are excellent Brad. I have a few more years experience with the camera and improvements will come the more you shoot. I shoot in RAW mode and tweak with PS so that has a lot to do with control of the image.

Those pics I took were not touched up at all in ps. I cant imagine how much better they'd look if i did.

I shot those with speed set to 800, and normal daylight mode or Automatic.

Set your speed at 200 and use Aperture priority mode...the shutter speed will take care of itself. If the shutter speed get below 100th, up the ISO a little.

If you shoot RAW you can correct for exposure and other factors with PS.

Ok Great.

I thought 800 meant it was a faster shutter speed than 200.

Ill try your method and let u know.

When I say speed I mean the ISO speed. That is what controls the shutter speed and aperture used. When you said "800" I thought you meant the ISO speed.

Set your ISO to 200 and shoot at Aperture Priority. You set the aperture to the setting that provides you the depth of field you want. Once the aperture is set the shutter speed will be automatically controlled. Likewise you can set the shutter speed to meet the subject matter (called Shutter Priority) and the aperture will be set automatically. 200 ISO will provide you excellent quality images.
