Do your research and go to the web site and read the specs. They are Bi-Xenon High Intensity Discharge low/high beam headlamps and they are standard.

 

Yeah after I saw that picture I went straight to the website and saw that. I knew MB wouldnt make xenons an option atleast not on the S550.

 

The pics aren't that good since it's raining outside. I'll post more pics when the rain stops.

Congrats on your new White S550 AMG sport that is the exact car I want to order please post more pictures as soon as you can I would love to see more exterior pics. how do you like your color combo?and have you had good feed back from others!

I think white with the black interior on a AMG is the way to go or Black Black if you do not mind High maintenance

 

Beautiful car...white AMG looks great. It the interior Black or Grey/Dark Grey?

 

Sometimes it's just the camera. I know that when I took a picture of my S-500's headlamps, with the dipped beams on, the picture came out with a yellowish white hue to the lights, not the blue that you normally see.

 

The color combo is white with black interior.

 

I posted a few more today even though the weather is still ugly.

That's what I was thinking. And sometimes I see halogen headlights with a bluish hue.

 

that does usually happen. I photograph cars for ebay at a Jaguar dealer, and when I snap a picture of the headlamps I have to get it when they are first turned on to catch the deeper blue color.

 

This car rides better than any benz I ever had!

 

Did you consider the Bentley Flying Spur, Did you Drive the Flying Spur if so how did compare to the S550 sport. I know its not fair to compare a flying spur to $190000 vs 100000

Are you happy with the white color S550 sport AMG how do you think it compares to black sport

AMGBENZ: i'm hijacking a little, but if you're able to pick up Car Magazine for March 2006 where you are there, is a comparison between the Flying Spur and the S550 (and the RR). In short, the S won In every objective criteria at least. They felt the Spur's interior is more special feeling (of course) but that's it.

anyway, here's a silver S350L sitting on the lot in Kuala Lumpur - now sold (listed at RM998k specced out - that's US$270k thanks to the crazy taxes):

 

hmm why does that lowly S350 get the cool headrests while over here ive only seem them on the S600 and S65 at the auto show.

 

IluvS500: you must remember they are the top of the range around here - though people don't expect huge engine power they do expect everything else for their US$270k
