I picked it up from the dealer with the badging. It's too hard to badge it with the curve in the trunk, don't you think?

 

That is really strange for a non-AMG vehicle to have AMG on it just because of the AMG sport package. I can't see your pics anymore, what happened?

I like to take some pics of the cars when they are new. the CLS is from january and the S-class is from fébruary.

That a pity it's winter here in Paris and the background is not so good but the most important isn't the bakground, it's what is inside... right???

 

Nice photos. Can you show the S-class straight side photo and the CLS side photo. I think the best profile is from the side.

Correct on the options. If I am going to spend this much on a car then I want certain features. Distronic Plus is not on any of the stock cars, nor is the PanoRoof and Wood Wheel on some of the others.

If you go to their site they have I think 6 AMG package models coming with some in stock. Nice package but at $5600 a plus I can do without. http://glauser-mercedes.ebizautos.co...550/AMG-Sport/

That was for the sat-radio on the first few demo cars, not sure why it is on a S550 that is for sale, it shouldn't be.

The "shark" was on several of the early production cars besides the dealer demo's. My dealer in LV delivered several with the shark before they started building them with the "bump."

 

Oh ok that explains it then. I wonder why that was because the little bump looks so much better.

i wonder if you have to order w/satellite radio. i would prefern no bump of shark fin at all.

 

Just don't order Package 1A. However, most if not all cars being built have Package 1A so it may be a problem. Premium package 1 included the vented seats and the trunk closer but because of shortages for the trunk closer it has not been available. Check with your dealer on this one.

 

yeah but where there is a will there is a way. these guido's here in brooklyn, badge their cars to death. this one guido runs around in a 430. he has tail pipes hanging off the back. s600, amg badging on the back, he even put the v12 badging on the sides. i walked by him and told him that while his badging may satisfy his lack of being able to afford a real 600, it doesn't justify the fact that he can't enjoy the interior comforts as well as the power the 600 provides. i thought he was going to pull a jr. high and try and kick my butt.

hey, i call it like i see it. not sure what these idiots are trying to prove. the majority of non-mercedes owners don't even know the difference in the numbers and the majority of benz owners can spot a fraud right away.

Took delivery last week: Thursday 6th April. It's Iridium silver and pictured with my wife's SL which is Telurium.

Since it's a long wheelbase car I thought members might like a look at the rear seat controls and panoramic roof.

 

Incidently the rather boring wheels are standard equipment on cars with 6 cylinder engines. I am in the process of selecting more interesting replacements and shall keep everyone in touch.

 

Very nice HC...a beautiful combination of cars you have there. We took delivery the same day. Because of delays in the US for specific options, I ended up buying from stock and lost the PanoRoof...very nice feature.
