Question about options of new S-Class

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if the Electronic Trunk closer will be avalible on the S550 or S600? Or possibly just the S600 for 2007, or not at all? Some feedback would be greatly appriciated.

Best reguards,

It's avalaible as an option on the S550 and quite possibly would be standard on the 600.

PHYBENZ, Thank you so much for giving me this information. When I was at FJLV I was looking at the S550 and the car was not equiped with the trunk closer, but was equiped with nearly every other feature so I was not forsure if it was going to be an option. Thanks again for the feedback.

It was a standard on my car, but I am located in Korea, so option list is bit diffrent.
However, I think it should be available to you guys at least as an option, since my car came with it.

clkcadet, I also noticed that the trunk closer option was not featured on MBUSA. But as op355 mentioned it was standard on his car. I don't know what the think.

In the 2007 S550 brochure, the Electronic Trunk Closer is listed as an individual option. Standard on the S600, optional on the S550.

something fast
The s600 has EVERY option as standard. The only thing you can choose is the color and the wheels. The s550 does have electric trunk closer as an option it is just not listed on the website, they make mistakes!

Almost all of MB options on the S550 are "delayed." And yes, the Trunk Opener is available as a stand-alone option.
