So nice to look at, a complete 360 from those first press photos Jack. Any niggles, complaints, wierd observations about the S550 vs your previous S430?

The difference between the S550 and S430 is significant. Luxury features and finish are at a much higher level. The Multi-contour Dynamic seats are unbelievable and add so much to the feel of the ride. Tracking at any speed is dead on straight. The COMAND operation is fantastic...I love it! The S430 was a beautiful riding car but the S550 just lets you know you are driving the ultimate. All these comments are subjective and not made just because I now own the S550...but because I am honestly so impressed with the whole driving experience.
