Mercedes OEM tyres for w221
Hey guys,
Just got my s500 (s550 for those in the US). I got the optional 18" R31 5-spoke wheels. Here in Australia 17" wheels are standard.
The tyres it shipped with are Michelin Pilot Primacy 255/45 V rated.
Just wondering what all the other 500/550 owners have on their cars and the relative merits of the tyres. I had Michelin Primacy tyres on my CLK, but i preferred the P-zero's on the e500 (found these gripped better).
So what do you guys think of the michelin primacy tyres...from the limited driving i've done it seems they are primarily designed for ride comfort/quietness. Anyone know how these perform in terms of outright grip and wet/dry braking?
Thanks guys.
