w221 Featuring MODULARE M4 22" Wheels

Hey guys, since we are authorized MODULARE dealers, we get images of their newest wheels mounted on various platforms for our gallery. I have received many requests for the M4 in Brushed Aluminum (since the media images are chrome only). We got these pics in yesterday from Pete at MODULARE Wheels and I just wanted to share. Here are the specs:

MODULARE M4
BRUSHED ALUMINUM face / CHROME lip
22x9 front
22x10.5 rear
KLEEMANN Lowering Module

For more info, or a price quote on these wheels, email:

Not sure I like the look, not quite the right rim for a S-Class IMO. Seems like to little tire, how does it ride???

I would agree...that car must ride like a truck with those low profile tires and lowering. Looks like it is riding on the rims...

Work in Progress
I actually love the way the car looks. I would love to see this set up with the AMG package. Unfortunately, if you are going with a 22" wheel there is no way to avoid the low sidewalls. Additionally, if it was not lowered it would have the 4x4 look. I've driven a car with a similar 22" set up and the ride was fine. It was a BMW 745 not an S550, so I'm sure the S would be even smoother.

Yeah I can support that, I drive a 7series with 22" wheels and its no where in the vicinity of "truck like" lol. Also the lowering is not optional in my opinion its MANDATORY!!

Seriously though, anyone that considering such a large wheel is well aware that the ride will not be 100% identical to stock. The thing is, the car will not ride like a 88 Civic with cut springs either, and I think that is a common misconception about lowered vehicles with low profile tires.

Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez, that looks good. One of the first things I consider when sizing up a new foreign auto is what kind of rims could be tucked underneath it. That looks so clean.

Ride like a truck? No way. Maybe after you weighted it down with all the fine looking ladies that needed a ride.

Whats the size of the tires? And does the lowering of the car void the mercedes warranty?

Those rims look HOT on this car.
But I guess you got to be willing to sacrifice on ride quality for looks.
