There is no S Class sold in the US with "upholstery." The standard interior is leather and if you have the Premier Leather (which I do) you have Nappa leather on the seating surfaces instead of the standard leather. Tecnically the interior is Sahara Beige/Cashmere.

I don't know where you get your info but you had better recheck your source.

Actually Jack the 804 leather code on your car is not nappa, it is semi-aniline leather which is higher quality than nappa.

I saw this Lexus at the car show in Philly a few months back. It was up on a platform and all roped off so that you couldn't get to close to it. I was very impressed with the looks and features. I guess that they're similar in power with the standard models but, they are no match for the AMG models!

You could get reclining rear seats in the S-class from 2000-up as an option and were standard in the S-600 and S-65.

I've been in the S65 with the "reclining" option and it really doesnt seem that useful...the one in the new LS is a true reclining rear seat..and for the price of a S550 you could probably get the LS600h which puts out 430hp
