Navigation ETA?
Hey all,
I've been driving the s600 around today and let me first say, the distronic plus is so convenient in both traffic and cruising speeds.
Anyway, I had a question regarding the navigation system. Other than the "route info" screen, is there any other way to have the ETA/remaining miles show up on either the speedometer display or the COMAND? It seems like such a basic thing that should be in the corner somewhere, but the only way I have found to see it, is to click on route, then route info, I believe. It's just a hassle and you have to back out when you're done to get back to the map.
Thanks.

S600
Sorry I don't have any info on the ETA, but I do have a question about the ride of the S600. Does it ride/sound different than the S550 or S65? They will only bring in an S600 into Hawaii if one orders it, so there is no opportunity to drive one here.

The ride will be the same as an S550 with the ABC option. I've never been in a 65, but it probably has a stiffer ride, due to the AMG tuned ABC.
I believe all three sound pretty different. The 550 and 600 are very quiet... I think the 600 might be a bit louder tho? I really don't remember hearing the exhaust of the 550. But, I do notice that V12s sound different than V8s. The S65 just sounds sick! There's a video of it on youtube I think.

And yes, there should be an option to just list the route in text as well. The new method is kind of complicated.
New Command APS NTG-2 Version available in Europe
which solves a number of problems and includes the remaining KM/Miles and the scheduled arrival time!
