NevadaJack should chime in any second now.....

If you do a search on his posts and threads, you'll see that he was serious about getting an Andorite Grey S550, but with all the problems with build schedules or something like that, and with a White S550 Sport on the lot at Glauser, he just couldn't resist.

He's posted a thread with pics of an Andorite Grey S550. I think you'll like it.

Do a thread search on 'Andorite Grey' -- I have posted several pics of S-Class's in that color.

Nevada Jack and I went back and forth on it for three weeks? Nevada posted pics of an Andorite Grey outside a dealership (Glauser in CO?).

Most likely in the new S-Class thread (W221?).

It's a nice color - but I am going to have to see it on the ground in sunlight before I have it put on one of my S's....

I saw a new Andorite Grey S550 today outdoors in the sunshine. I would describe it as a smoky silver more than a grey. It didn't seem to have any greenish or blueish tint that I could see. I wish I could have ordered it on my E550. It is a great looking color.

Andorite Grey

Do you think this pic of the the CL is the Andorite Grey or possibly the titanium Grey that was listed by 2007sclass?

Looks more like Titanium Grey. Andorite has a more "blue" tint to the grey.

Clayj and Neveda Jack

Thanks,

I did the search, however the pics you are referring to by Nevada Jack did not show up in the thread.

Are those outdoor pics still around?

It looks more like Iridium Silver.

Respectfully disagree. I see absolutely no blue in it at all. Did you see it outside in the sunshine, or in a showroom with artificial light?

I've still got them in my 'Andorite Grey' folder - along with some others -- but I don't have pic-posting privaleges at the moment (othrrwise I would have posted them up for you in my initial response ); so hopefully Nevada Jack or someone else will poke their head in here and post some up for you....

Sorry

Photobucket or Imageshack. There's no way your life would be at risk for posting pictures that others have taken.

Andorite Grey = Alpine Rain?

I searched my HD's and found only 3 shots from the many I had (that Spotlight on the iMac is great.) I cleaned out a lot of stuff and all those images were deleted. Here are three...the large one is from Glauser in a rain or snow storm, and two from a new owner in March or so in SC.

The only real problem that I have with it is that I have a few pics of it sitting outside on an overcast day, and it does live up to the 'grey' part of its name in those lighting conditions - just isn't as attractive - to me anyway - in those lighting conditions....

I will see the color on the ground, and then I will decide whether or not it goes on an S65 for me.

I may still prefer the 'Bluetech Blue'....

dang.. you have 4500+ posts with all BS.. if you are on probation and cannot post pics then just stop participating in the thread, or just use imageshack/photobucket as suggested by AsianML.

this site seriously needs member ignore function....

Thanks Nevada

I guess the new CL will have a Titanium Grey, thought it might have Andorite as an option. When anyone sees a Titanium pic, let it roll out.
