When will the P3 package be available?
I have an s550 with P3 on order but my dealer doesnt have a clue. Ahh im sick of driving a rental car what should i do

I dont think anyone at the dealers know. Perhaps later by the end of the year they will have a better idea on when P3 will be available. I know DCX ran out of Night Assist components worldwide due to large demand, so they are building inventory back up before they offer it in the cars again, sans the S600.

Instead of driving a rental, buy a POS for a couple $k or whatever amount you are willing to spend on a rental. You will save yourself a lot of $ in the long run (if you are renting for an extended period of time) and then you can either sell the car when finished, keep it as a commuter, or donate it for a tax write off.

Premium 3 availability is random
In stock right now I have the following car. Just want to show how it works.
Arctic White
Savanna Premium Leather
Premium Package 2A
Night View Assist
Drive Dynamic Multi-Contour Seats
Dynamic Rear View Monitor
At this point, the car is a P3, not on the window sticker, but on content it's Premium 2 + the 3 other options that take it to P3.
MB has faced availability issues on the all three components but from time to time cars went through with everything.
Today for instance, the multi-contour seats are very hard to add to an order car.
The other advise I can offer is that if you have money down on an order car that is real you should be able to see the car on a report at the dealer. If you ordered white and savanna P3 without AMG Sport, we should talk about this car I have.

P3 Orders
I ordered my S550 from HBL Tyson’s back in October. The ordering system did not allow P3 however, I was able to pick every P3 option a-la-cart. They original stated that my car would be a Dec Build and January delivery however I got a call from them last week.
My car is now slated to be build in Jan for a Feb / Early March Delivery.
My order includes P1, P3 + all of P3 as a a-la-cart add on.
Go to the dealer and see if you can build it in this manner.
