Actually, a fully optioned S550 4Matic is around 125k
A fully optioned S550 4 Matic with sport package, night vision, Distr Plus, shades, panorama, trunk closer, heated steering wheel, drive dynamic and massage front AND rear seats and RSE with back-up camera should be around 120 to 125k out the door.

The SL is MUCH better in snow, trust me
(though its never set foot on snow EVER), I think we should motion for an even trade

I comparison shopped the S550, A8L, & the S8 amongst several others this past weekend. I liked the S550's interior the best (with exception of the shifter.) The S550 also looks better on the exterior too. But...it's hard to argue against the purr of a V10.
Anyway, after visiting MB, Audi, & BMW dealers, my wife picked an SL550 as the car she liked best. The jury is still out for me.
I personally think the S550 vs S8 is valid comparison, since Audi RS versions are normally closer to AMG-like performance specs.
