New MHI Bluetooth Cradle?

New MHI Bluetooth Cradle?
I was wondering if anybody has purchased the new MHI Bluetooth Cradle now available on Wireless4mb? It seemingly combines the best of both worlds, however the picture shows a RAZR in the cradle and I was wondering if it limited to that model, or if I could possibly fit in other phones as well. Also, on a side note, has anybody ever needed to replace their phones and if so, what was the procedure? I am traveling right now and dropped my phone this morning and it is now dead. I went into Verizon who told me that they will send me a replacement phone, but I'm concerned that when I get back home, the phone won't dock properly since it did not come from Wireless4mb. Should I wait until Monday when I can speak to a Wireless agent, or will I likely be fine with the Verizon replacement? Any input would be greatly appreciated!!!

I would think you'd be better off with the Mercedes Bluetooth Module Dock and all you do is sync your phone to it. She looks like a 6 inch torpedo. It just snaps into place and your sync it right up! 
This way you don't have to keep docking and undocking your phone. I bought one each for my 07 SL550 and 07 S550 and they work perfect. I'm syncing them to my Blackberry (aka 'Crackberry' 
) and they worked right away. I thus just leave the phone on the seat or in my coat pocket.

so if its a bluetooth cradle does that mean that you can choose to dock it or leave it undocked if you prefer? i don't understand why the cradle would be bluetooth if you had to dock it everytime to use it.

From what I understand, you can just use the bluetooth connection, or if you wish to have the functionality of the car's external antenna and phone charging, you may dock the phone. Since my original post however, I have learned that this cradle is only available for the RAZR.

There are certain phones that will send the contacts to the Command screen but I dont know which models they are.

Where is this bluetooth cradle? Today at the dealer he asked if i wanted to add it to my s550, and it was $350. I wanted to research that instead of just blindly trusting him.

Hello Magwheel. When did you get the S (btw, your sig sz S500) & the SL? Are they pretty new or have I missed something??? Any updated review(s) on them?

It is a S550. I don't know if you saw my posts in the SLR section, but I relayed to everyone that I had sold my 05 Gallardo and 06 Murcielago because I just had too many unpractical cars that I couldn't drive a lot of the time.I had bought the SL550 while I still had the Lambos and that's when I decided to sell them. The SL was so nice and so much fun to drive no matter the weather or other circumstances, that I wanted to sell the Lambos and pick up the S550.
I'm thoroughly enjoying the Mercedes and really happy I bought them. It's nice to have cars you can drive on any day you want..... but, even so, I won't drive either one purposely in the snow. I have a couple all-wheel drive cars for that job assignment. Magwheelp.s. Would it be OK if I try and do a review of one or maybe both of the Mercedes next week? I'd like to take a couple new pics of them.
