4matic Staggered Setup
I have been running an 18" staggered setup on my 2003 w220 for years with no issues. The key is having the total wheel height the same in front and rear.
You can use the tire calculator at miata.net and it gives you the exact wheel height based on size input. I now drive a w221 s550 4matic and will be running 20" AMG staggered as well. Gotta look good in the snow
