2007 S550
Altimeter
My 2007 S550 has an altimeter reading on the Navigation screen. The 1st few weeks it seemed to work okay. Now it is fixed on 1000ft. Does anyone know if there is a reset button to release the reading or is it defective?

Well, I don't think it's really an "altimeter" (which usually refers to a barometric or radar altimeter), it's just the altitude reading from GPS.

Maybe you just haven't gotten a 3D fix from GPS in a while? Is there some reason your GPS unit can't find 4 satellites?

2007 S550
Actually the navigation system is showing 6 to 8 satellites. I've only had the car for 1 month no upgrades that I am aware of. Will check on that.
