Purchasing another s550

In my case, adding Designo on top of all the other features I wanted would have been a bit much. In your case, given your car collection, I'm guessing you would never even notice the extra $10k.
So I would go for it.And as NJ said, I think ABC and the multicontours are good features to have. And I'm a big fan of the distronic plus.
Why not get rid of one of two of your lesser cars and get the S65! Personally, that's what I would do in your position. Who needs a CLK anyway?
as for your colors, it's funny you mentioned white/tan. my favorite combo has always been white/blk. many co's used to do that, but for some reason they're always white/tan or white/grey now. whenever i see the white/blk now, i think it's so special and unique. just my $.02.

Because I agree, the leather looks much nicer. However, I personally don't like the feel of the wood. The change in texture/feel going from the leather to wood bothers me (I shuffle-steer). And when my ring hits the wood it's like fingers on a chalkboard to me.
So I had to go with the standard wheel. But I wish I could get the leather airbag. I've had that on my last two Porsches (they offer that as a factory option).

I do not know the residual, but they were taking $4600 off msrp with 5 down 50 month lease with 12k annual mileage. I got $6000 off on my first s550, but since the general manager has changed, south bay is not the same. I was expecting $8000 off sticker. All i know is that i will not buy the car until i get the best deal. I was about to lease a $90 msrp 750li, but i dont want to own a 745 and a 750. They were giving it for 1150 a month with only $3500 down with a 36 month lease and 12k annual mileage. As far as the wood steering wheel goes, i really like the sticking also and will probably end up buy one with that option. I do not want a really loaded 550 because this is not my evening nor weekend driver. I drive to my job sites with this and to my office. I tend to drive the grandsport on the evenings and weekends. Also, somone asked my why i own a clk350, i leased this car for my son.

But what money factor was the dealership trying to sell you?
$8k seems like a large discount. But I guess you're a very good customer, so I can understand that. But it seems that $5-6 is more typical.
Btw, sort of unrelated, but does anyone have any idea of how many S600s are sold each year in the US?
I only know of two whites for the S-class (in the US at least). Alabaster and the designo mystic white. What does arctic look like?
06CLK350, what is the build date on this car you're looking at?
Arctic is the older white that was used until a couple of years ago. It's a bit bluer than Alabaster, but these are very subtle differences. A salesman joked that they went back to Arctic because none of the salesmen could spell Alabaster.
