Mercedes S600L nice shot

There are luxury limousines, and then there is the Mercedes S600L... This new S-Class is perhaps the most amazing flagship ever to wear the famous three-pointed star badge.

reviews S600L and nice pic from UK writer and photographer at

Is there a difference between the 600L and the 2007 S600?

No, but in Europe they have both LWB and SWB, so they add L to the name to indicate LWB.

I don't think they make a SWB S600 though. I can't imagine why.

That's correct, no SWB S600 anywhere in the world. I assume that they think most people are being driven in an S600 hence the Long version. I remember when the Maybach came out, they said the anticipated more 57s being sold in the states than 62s because wealthy Americans still like to drive themselves even though wealthy people in other countries prefer being driven.

I don't have the exact sales numbers for Maybach, but if someone knows where to find them I would be very pleased.
