Keyless Go Beep...
Has anyone been able to get their dealer to turn the keyless go beep/chime off? Someone had posted that there's a flash update or something that will remove the beeping. We dropped the car off for service today and our SA told us there was no way to turn it off.
Has anyone been able to get this update? Is there a service bulletin number for it?

If the dealer flashes the instrument cluster with the latest software version it will go away. New cars no longer have the beeping as they have this newer version. Sorry but I do not have the software version number.

I will try asking the dealer again... btw, are you in the US? Can anyone else confirm that the newer production cars have the beeping removed?

Great, thanks... good to hear from another member as well.
I just talked to the service manager. I told him the information I heard here and he said he's gonna talk to the shop foreman.
I'll keep you guys posted as to what I find out.
