I have been reading this forum for a while since I got my S350 w221 2011 in September last year.
A lot of posts have great information in them, and I noticed a lot of them are from konigstiger. I would like to take this opportunity and thank you for your contribution over the many years!
WRT the data card; I pulled some VIN decoder info on the web, which seems to concur with my S350, however, it has a carbon centre console, which is not fitted, and which would not look good either.
Maybe your data card would shed some light on the real config for my S350
The VIN is WDD2210572A392109

A “Datacard” for your vehicle should be supplied with every new delivery however; if you do not have a copy (i.e.: purchased used) I or any MB dealer can readily supply a print out free of charge. PM your email address and VIN (any model) time permitting I will forward a PDF. Basically equipment and paint codes, engine and transmission #s, order #, and delivery date. I believe 2008 has 1 color amber, 2010 began solar (amber), neutral (white), polar (blue).

New to my stable
Finally made the jump, bought a 2009 S550 4Matic . VIN WDDNG86X59A265255 . Data card would be fantastic , and much appreciated... Keeping my '08, 535i, for my sportier side...
