Tire pressures and an iPod question
I've got a two-month-old S550 4MATIC, and I've been surprised at the difference a few pounds of tire pressure can make, with what feels like improved damping and smoothness (I suppose it's the same thing) when increased in all 4 from 32 to 34 lbs in the stock Continentals that came with the car. I'm interested in what others have experienced?
My second question is about my factory installed iPod interface: I can't figure how to get it to suffle songs in my playlists. I'm assuming it's a failure to properly program the interface software. Mercedes' help desk in New Jersey wasn't, and Apple referred me to their "Genius" support staff in one of their stores, and I haven't done that yet. I mean, What are the odds? Any ideas?

Quick question to you, have you had any problems with the IPOD interface? My screen goes blank after a random amount of song skips. The music keeps playing and I can still play or skip a song, but the screen remains blank. I'm wondering if its a common problem, or if I have a bad module.

I'm afraid that doesn't work. Your instructions will shuffle all the songs on the iPod, but what I'm trying to do is enter one of the playlists I've created, and then shuffle the songs in that playlist. And it won't do it. It will only play songs in a playlist alphabetically.
I haven't had the blank screen problem, but when fast-forwarding through books from Audible.com, it occasionally gets stuck in fast-forward, and I have to unhook the iPod to stop it.
