B'Berry Curve not getting data to the car
My new Balckberry Curve 8310 AT&T (on the approved list) pairs fine but the Contact list (Outlook) doesn't transfer or show up on the car screen. (2007 S550). When I click NAME in the phone screen I get nothing. I use the bluetooth module.
My old Blackberry 7130 worked fine. Initially the vehicle didn't get the 7130 data either then one day it magically showed up. I probably did something to make it happen but I don't have a clue.
I'd love to know what I might be missing. I'd hate to have to return the 8310 just because I don't know what I am doing. I called the dealer. Forget that idea.
I'd appreciate any thoughts. Thanks.

Check under "Manage Connections" then "Bluetooth Options"
Then press the menu button (button immediate left of the scroll ball) and look under "Option".
There is a line item for "Address Book Transfer", look on there to see if it's set to "Always" - and you can also select the categories to download as I've had to limit to Family and Business due to the size of the address book.
