Custom S600

We its finally done

Brembo 16" Front Brakes

Brembo 15" Rear Brakes

Brabus Body Kit

Brabus E 21" Wheels

Brabus Lowering Module

Renntech Tunning and Aibox

MidCity - Stealth Valentine One w/ Blinder

Color is Steel Gray and Black

Also changed the Headliner to the Dark Charcoal Alcantara and Replaced the wood leather wheel with an all leather one with the paddle shifters, from a S65.

I know some of you guys consider it a sin to modify a new S-Class, but I wanted something different. Its not like it started out as a limited production car. Well here are some pictures. I will take some better ones once I have some more time.

How was the repainting job done? Did they remove the doors/panels/engines to repaint as many parts as feasible? Just curious, how much did that cost?

I like it. The only thing I would do differently is add a different color line to seperate the 2 colors. Sort of like a silver pinstripe or something.

They took most of the car apart Doors off, bumpers off, hood off, trunk off...all moldings off...

I left the motor in.

I paid about $12,000.

I looked at doing a silver pin stripe to separate the colors, but didn't like it. I like the stealth look. At night you can' tell its two tone. there is a small black hand painted pinstripe. you just have to look real hard to see it.

Thumbs up beautiful

ASG I think the paint is beautiful. Ive thought of highlighting the AMB body kit on my S600 with a slightly different color and your car confirms my thoughts. I think your car is awsome. As long as it is tastefull as in your paint scheme it can be quite dramaic. Its very dramatic without being "blingee". I really don't care for your wheels but everybody has different taste thank God.

pinstripe

I forgot to mention I think a pinstripe would have looked weird. The flow of the two colors should be subtle like you have accomplished.

color

I keep looking at your pictures and can't believe how good it looks. I might do some highlights just on the lowerpart of my car i.e AMG body kit and I really like that steel gray. My car is black. Where did you get the steel gray. I don't recognize as a MB color. Do you have a color code?
If I do this I will add pics
Thanks

i cant believe i,m typing this, as that is a 2-tone car, but i like it. not real fussed for your choice of wheel colour, i think a silver or machined look would have livened it a little, but over-all, i like it. better photos and NOT on grass is what you really need.

but it is a thumbs up.

Thanks for all the comments.

I know I need to take better pictures, I need to find a place.

I saw the Steel Gray on a 08 SL.

My original choice was Flint Gray, but I am glad I went with the Steel.

CEC did the body kit, exhaust, wheels & lowering.

RennTech did the Programming & Air intake.

Ravenswood Paint & Body did the Painting.

All are here in South Florida

Looks good. What is the power upgrade on the Rentech software?
Is it fairly noticeable? I'm considering this soon.

Not sure of the exact HP numbers, but there was definately a noticable difference. Like that the 130 mph speed limit has been raised to 186.

I think V1 is not going to happen - they do not have a hiden detector and I do not want to cut the mesh and put the all weather box.
Anybody has k40 with the adapter from midcity to show the alarms on the monitor?
Anyone from bay area with photos/price/installer?

Thanks.

Looking at it a few more times - I like the car. If you took more pics in bright sunlight it might do you more justice.

So, I assume the warranty at this point is null and void, right? Are you concerned or just don't care? The reason I'm asking is because even though you look like the type of guy who knows these cars inside out and can take 'em apart, at some point you're going to have to make that trip to the local MB dealership to get some high $$ item(s) fixed/serviced. Then what?

I just haven't had time to take some good pictures. As far as the warranty, I haven't really had an issue. They can not void the warranty on the entire car, just the parts I had replaced.
