Looking good Austin congratulations on the new S
Ahh.. that explains it, higher ISO settings on the camera = more noise/grain it generates. If you take picture in the daylight with enough ambient lighting, you might want to set the ISO to 100 or 200.
.... Yes, I think I had my settings set to "hi-iso" - not sure if that caused the picture to be more grainy (less resolution) ...... with all the gizzillion gadgets around me, each with a 500-1000 pg manual, I'm surprised I actually have time to sleep... and do other things humans do on a daily basis.

I'm not sure I do.....
I used a Canon "PowerShot SD700" - it's about a yr. old. It's the settings that I need to mess with.... don't have time to read YAM
YAM = Yet Another Manual

He's right. It looks good, but they style is kinda old...I just put doublespokes 20's on my S and I'm feeling the same way. They have to go. by the summer.
There are a lot of newer styles that look very nice on your car. Carlsson wheels look great. they have a 2.5 lip in the front and a 3" lip in the rear. or something like that. But whichever wheel you want, the Current styles are wide lipped wheels..
This w221 body seems to have been engineered with that in mind. All of the ones i've seen look so "at home" its insane. I think that's because of how the wheel wells flair outward. That car can take a very wide wheel and not rub at all.!!
Also to your lowering concern.. There is no way that car is going to rub there is just too much fender for that. You can get a nice 1 finger gap and your car will look soooo much different and it will never rub.
Plus it look like you don't have staggered wheels correct? this steals the aggressiveness away from your car in a major way. But it's all a taste thing.
IMO. These cars should all come from the factory 1.5" lower and 20's should be the smallest wheel they sell.
Its an awesome car and I can;t say enough that these newer S class cars are made to be tricked. they look their best that way.
Oh yeah,, links work on your car also. No need to spend a zillion on a module unless you just want to.
I'll see you riding around Austin sooner or later... You can't miss my S....
I'm getting some carlsson replicas shipped from Miami soon.

You mean on the front grille like this, or just remove the upright one on the hood and stick a flat emblem in it's place?

20's look a bit small in the pic, but I'm sure they look much better in person. I think 21's are just about right, and 22's are definitely too big.........By painting side marker, I think he means get a clear one, instead of the orange ones you have now. (or maybe getting it painted black?)
