hey guys i am getting rid of my 07 e350 and my next car is going to be an S550 OR possiblly an S63!

i am in no rush to pick up a new car so i was thinking if i wait till the winter event how much more of a dicount will i get and is the rates better ?

also i plan on ordering my car because i wan't it to be perfect. when would be a perfect time to order this fine automobile ?


any other tips i should know about ?

I don't believe any of those "events" affect the pricing on S classes too much. Usually they offer those specials for cars such as E , C, M, and GL's that are already sitting on the lot. Go ahead and get the deal locked up and order it.

BTW, what are you looking for on your car that you want specially ordered?
Name the color and features as many of us on this forum might can find what you want. I always zip through my local MB dealership's lot just to look around. Someone here might can locate one you want.

Nice options. I especially like the white with charcoal interior. So many of them have the beige interior which I don't like particulary like due to the difficulty of cleaning.
I'm not positive about what comes with the packages but are you getting distronic? You'll want that. It gets rid of the bullet holes on the bumpers and I love cruise once again. Didn't use cruise for 20+ years due to impracticality of it with so many cars on the road. Now I use it again.

I'll keep an eye out for what you're looking for. It will be a tad difficult to find due to the white/charcoal combination.

Would def add ABC and DistPlus (incredibly valuable active safety options) to your options list...and, if care much about passive safety, would kill Pano roof option...

And test-drive 600 vs 63....I'd scratch and claw to get a new S600 over any S550 or S63....

May want to consider timing of purch vs launch of facelifted S-Class...?Spr09...

Combine those two advices from Trumpet and WSH.
Distronic Plus is a must in my opinion
On my previous CL550 I didn't opt for it. CL600 came with it. Thank God, what a useful feature, def. not a conversation piece (like NightVision), but in certain situations a life saver.
ABC, another very underrated system from MB. How come they don't advertise/drill that into potential buyer is beyond me.
